Meet Chef Ana Machado

Chef Ana's journey is as exceptional as her cuisine. With a rich history as an executive chef and over two decades teaching Culinary Arts at the college level, Chef Ana's expertise is unparalleled. Unlike the adage "Those that can’t do, teach," Chef Ana defies convention by excelling in both realms simultaneously. Her impact extends beyond the kitchen, with former students now leading top-ranked restaurants or following her path into academia. Chef Ana's journey began with a passion for flavor and a curiosity for culinary exploration. With extensive international travel and immersion in diverse culinary traditions, she has cultivated a deep understanding of global cuisines. Her vast library of culinary books and hands-on experiences abroad inform every dish she creates, ensuring a harmonious balance of taste, texture, and nutrition.

Chef Ana: The Difference Maker

Nick Bosa stands out not just for his athletic prowess but also for his dedication to maintaining peak physical condition. Following a challenging ACL injury in 2020, Nick enlisted the help of Chef Ana Machado and took a decisive step towards healthier eating habits. He embraced a diet rich in lean proteins and fresh vegetables, and notably discovered a newfound passion for juicing, resulting in lowering his body fat to 9%, the lowest among his teammates. Fast forward to 2024, Nick not only recovered from his injury, but also received the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the year award, and helped lead his team, the San Francisco 49ers, to Super Bowl LVIII in 2024.
